  1. Adding tomato, jalapeño and onion is classic Tex-Mex. Cilantro is the other essential component but I didn’t add it this time. People either love or hate cilantro and I didn’t know my guest’s preference. As for the knife, it’s Chicago Cutlery. Inexpensive and quick to dull but it does a good enough job.
